Film & TV Generator Hire

Film and television production is one of our main areas of generator hire.

Productions often require additional temporary power for lighting, catering, production offices, makeup and wardrobe, location facilities, trailers, technical equipment and unit bases.

We can supply generators for short shoots, single-day productions or longer filming projects.

On-Site Generator Operator

For productions where continuous power is important, we can provide an on-site member of staff to look after the generator throughout the shoot.

Our on-site service can include:

Monitoring generator operation

Checking and maintaining fuel levels

Refuelling when required

Keeping an eye on the security of the generator

Helping ensure the generator remains available throughout filming

Liaising with production staff regarding power requirements

This is particularly useful for overnight shoots, remote locations and multi-day film and television productions.

Generator Hire for Location Filming

Not every production takes place inside a studio.

We can deliver trailer generators directly to country estates, houses, warehouses, fields, car parks, town centres and remote filming locations where mains electricity isn’t available or where additional power is required.

Because the generator is trailer mounted, it can be delivered to the production location and positioned where practical for the shoot.

Wedding & Event Generator Hire

Our generators are also suitable for:

Weddings and marquees

Outdoor events

Festivals

Corporate events

Outdoor cinema

Catering facilities

Temporary venues

Private events

Shows and exhibitions

For important events, we can remain on site to monitor the generator, maintain fuel levels and provide additional security for the unit.
